the aspect that humanism that i am interested in the most, would be the fact that there would be no war in this world. i think it would be good to stop all this violence and stop this war that is happening right now, for example, in Iraq, with the war and all, who knows, we can die any day.:-$ this is not a good thing in life. just because of war, we can start the same right here right now, and nobody can do anything about it. we can all have a war with each other, and at first, the police might stop them and put them in jails and whatnot, but then, there is going to be a point where we won't all fit in jails and we're just going to kill people and leave them in the streets to rot. this can happen all over again like the black death. well, almost because it is not with a disease or anything, it is just hatred with other races and people.this is what interests me the most about humanism...[having no wars].
I believe that the challenging of the basic ideals is the most amazing part of humanism. During the middle ages, almost everything revolved around the church and superstitions. These things had a huge influence on everyone's lives. To go up against the basic parts of their lives so suddenly is amazing. I also believe that the restoration of the learning in the Renaissance was amazing as well. A lot of the things learned by the Greeks and Romans were forgotten during the Middle Ages. Even though most of the information was lost, the people of the Renaissance managed to preserve what was left and restore it.
Well one aspect that humanism, I was most in interested in the most, is that they were able to challenge the church theory because they were so tied down to church. In those times the whole culture was revolved around he Catholics. They wrote in Latin that was hard write and read. They simply wanted a change in there culture and that how it all started the renaissance.
in humanism the opportunity of a new literature was a very good change because writers had a new way to write their stories and changing their subject matter. i really like that they started writitng about their own thoughts, feelings and in a individually way.

The aspect of humanism that interested me the most, was more peace in the world. There would be much less fighting, in fact, there would not be any wars or killing. I think that violence is wrong and it shouldnt be provoked into the world. For example, the war we are in today. We have ben fighting with Iraq for about 5 years now, and an estimated 4,000 deaths have been calculated. If we were all humanists, then none of this would have even started. Also, humanists are somewhat in the middle for me. I believe that we should worship God and praise him. But, i also believe that people should enjoy their time on earth while they still can. If you go to heaven, then you will be there for the rest of eternity. However, you only have a certain amount of time to live on earth.In that case, you should make the best of it. Before humanists, people spent their entire life on earth prepearing for heaven and life after death. I dont think that thats the right way to live.

For example The Mona Lisa. That peace of art work has many meanings. Some say that Mona Lisa is a mixture of an man and a woman, some say that the Mona Lisa was a real woman. But besides that, the Art was a Big concept in Humanism. Art was used to express feelings, as well as writing.
